What is Browser Extensions?

While browser extensions provide tools to make your life easier when surfing the web, some of them may be used to steal and sell personal information, degrade performance and distort the way you experience the web. That's where Online Security comes in.

When you're about to download and install a harmful extension, Online Security will send you a warning notification.

If you ignore the warning and continue to install the extension, Online Security will automatically disable the extension and will send you another warning notification.

Although it is not recommended, you may tap Re-activate to enable the extension anyway. In this case, the extension will appear under Harmful Extensions. You could always disable the extension by tapping the activation toggle.
